Paris Muse

This is a short clip from the surreal dark-comedy classic Delicatessen, by Jeunet & Caro (Jeunet went on to direct Amelie). It reminds me of the cramped quarters of our first Paris apartment in the 18th. What I love about this scene is how they take the normally bothersome aspect of small apartments with thin walls and turn it on its head. I’m sure many Parisians can relate! (note: the clip contains sexually suggestive content, so skip it if that bothers you).
