80 years since his creation and Babar is the king of the elephants, still wearubg his "costume of a pleasant green." He is certainly one of the heroes of children's literature, and especially of parents and grandparents who remember Babar from their childhood. He is celebrating his birthday in the Hall of Toys at the Museum of Decorative Arts in an exhibition that traces the adventures of the most famous pachyderm since 1931.
