Anri Sala

Anri Sala

Information:

A symphony by Anri Sala composed of objects, photographs and four new films activated by a "time code" preset, forming a loop of one hour. The images lead the viewer through different parts of the world: Sarajevo during the siege of 1992 to 1995, in Berlin with the geodesic dome of Buckminster Fuller, Bordeaux with a deserted ballroom, to the famous site of Tlatelolco in Mexico City. With an original sound spatialization through film, the artist makes the space a "music box", broadcasting in turns The Clash and Tchaïkovski.
