Les Mille et Une Nuits
Information:
The Arabian Nights is an extraordinary collection of stories which, since its first translation into French and popularization throughout Europe has become a permanent part of world culture. An exceptional link between East and West, some three hundred works will allow visitors to approach as closely as possible the sublime character of Scheherazade: some of the oldest manuscripts will be shown for the occasion. It follows the book, from its genesis and Indo-Persian origins, until Antoine Galland, who was the author of its first translation into a European language.
